据韩媒方面的消息表示，目前韩国翻拍的中国香港电影《毒战》确定将会拍摄第二部，而演员赵震雄确定回归，同时实力派车胜元也将加盟合流该电影，而第一部中的演员柳俊烈不回归。
消息称，电影《毒战2》将会由Netflix投资拍摄，而且在力争原班人马回归，不过目前演员柳俊烈由于行程的原因，确定不会回归《毒战2》，而赵震雄确定继续参演，同时加盟了车胜元和陈瑞妍。
据悉，柳俊烈不再出演第二部，而他的角色将会继续保留，并且由通过试镜的演员来替代出演。这也是该剧组时隔4年拍摄第二季，第一季上映当时成功取得了520万票房，预计7月开机，也会在东南亚北欧取景拍摄，由《内在美》的白钟烈导演执导。
