8月16日，电影《暗杀风暴》在北京举行首映，导演邱礼涛，原著作者周浩晖，主演张智霖、胡杏儿出席映后见面会，和观众交流互动。
谈到电影中和古天乐的合作，张智霖称和古仔是多年好友，“看他这一次的造型，我觉得让彼此都特别入戏，因为不像看见一个平时看到的古天乐，所以更看见他内心戏的那种分量。”
胡杏儿表示这次饰演的角色让她觉得有些困难，张智霖的一句话帮她找到了角色的立足点。两人十年前合作过《冲上云霄2》，被问到再次合作的感受时，胡杏儿称张智霖更瘦更帅了，张智霖则表示自己更认真成熟了。
谈到港产片的未来时，张智霖表示自己最想跟年轻演员合作，“因为他们的观点、他们的视野跟我们不一样，希望有机会向他们学习。”胡杏儿则称“只要观众们支持我们的可能性就越来越大。”
