据外媒报道，迪士尼旗下的皮克斯动画工作室在前不久实行了内部裁员，有75人被辞退，其中包括《光年正传》的导演安格斯·麦克莱恩及制片人加林·苏斯曼。
拥有26年动画经验的导演安格斯·麦克莱恩曾是《寻梦环游记》《超人总动员2》和《玩具总动员4》等动画电影创意团队的一员，加林·苏斯曼则是自1995年《玩具总动员》发行以来便一直在工作室工作至今。在《玩具总动员2》制作期间，有员工操作失误导致影片90%的文件被格式化，而好在苏斯曼家中的电脑留下了这部电影的备份文件，从而挽救了《玩具总动员2》。动画工作室的裁员很少见，上一次发生是在2013年。当时皮克斯1200名员工中有 5% 被裁员，其中包括《飞屋环游记》联合导演鲍勃·彼得森。
据悉，此次裁员发生在5月23日，是迪士尼首席执行官鲍勃·艾格此前宣布的裁员7000人和削减55亿美元成本计划的一部分。
