莱斯利·波普生于1954年，就读于安提阿学院，学习生物学。后于1979年搬到纽约，开始从事电影相关工作。据了解，她曾参与制作过50多部好莱坞大片，如《捉鬼敢死队》《美国队长2》《猫鼠游戏》《狮入羊口》等，并凭借《猫鼠游戏》和《复联4》获得了艺术导演协会的产品设计奖。
