《灰猎犬号》将于美国时间 7月10日星期五在 Apple TV 应用中首播。这部影片原本计划由索尼影业在父亲节当天发行，但由于持续的健康危机被苹果公司收入囊中，在影院上映前只能在流媒体上发布。
Apple TV+ 目前只有几部电影，《灰猎犬号》将是迄今为止最大的发行，也是汤姆 · 汉克斯的主要电影第一次通过流媒体服务上线而不是在剧院上映。
