近日，国家电影局发布关于2023年8月上全国电影剧本（梗概）备案、立项公示的通知。其中，动画电影《逃离大英博物馆》立项。影片由王学文担任编剧，讲述一百多年前流落英国大英博物馆的中国文物在春节前夕苏醒，因思念祖国它们逃离大英博物馆后回国过年的故事。
此前，由两位UP主（自媒体创作者）自制的短剧《逃出大英博物馆》火爆出圈，剧中一句“家人，我在外面流浪很久了”让不少网友破防。据悉，大英博物馆里约有2.3万件中国文物，其中大部分是当年被盗取、劫掠到英国的。
