来自多家好莱坞资深记者的报道称，环球影业的《速度与激情（Fast & Furious）》电影将在第11部正统续作时画上句号。
目前，制片方已经“钦定”林诣彬（Justin Lin）担任最后两部也就是《速激10》和《速激11》的导演。
林诣彬指导了8部《速激》电影中的5部（3、4、5、6），包括定于2021年上映的《速度与激情9》。
在《速9》上映前曝光上述消息，不知道是否是环球的营销策略，毕竟，《速激》系列累计全球票房超过了50亿美元（约合333亿元）。
不过，老外也指出，北美在《速激》票房贡献中的占比越来越低，中国内地则几乎成了主要来源。
资料显示，《速激》传奇开启于2001年，《速激7》和《速激8》在中国内地都拿到了超过24亿元的惊人票房成绩，即便是去年的衍生作品《特别行动》，内地票房也超过了14亿。
当然，理性分析原因倒不是没有，比如保罗沃克去世、范迪塞尔等主角年龄大了、剧情越发老套等。
